ANNOUNCEMENT for our running friends

If you live in the Bay Area and like running, read on!

In fall, my friend Sylvie and I created a race in the beautiful Sierra Azul. All proceeds from said race went to animal rescues across California (you can find the race report HERE). Overall, we donated $1,180.

The excitement of our runners completely exceeded our expectations, and so, we’re bringing it back this spring; different course, different distances, same goal — to support animal rescues across California.

MUTT — the Muddy Ultra Trail Trott, is a fixed-course race that you can run in your own time across several months, which gives you as many attempts as you want to reach your best. It’s an open course type of race. You may start any time, any day between February 1 and April 31, 2021. Your ELAPSED time is what will count as your official result on Ultrasignup.

The race combines multiple parks in the South Bay area to create a fun spring trail running challenge. There are two distances; 50K and Half Marathon. We will have trophies for the fastest 3 men and women in both distances and we will have finisher medals.

This time around, we’ll be donating to “Josh and his Critters” and “iPittyTheBull.

If you’re interested, visit the offiial race website HERE to read more about the course, logistics, competition, rescues, and rewards!

I will be back to regular posts next week. In the meanwhile, if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions on what you’d like to read about next, don’t hesitate to share them in the comment section down below!

Love,
— P
