Traveller’s Book for September

Neil Gaiman – Stardust

It might sound like a story for kids but don’t be fooled by the name of this book, the cover, or the movie adaptation if you came upon it.

Stardust is written and published for adults, a story about young Tristran Thorn’s journey to find a fallen Star on which he meets all kinds of people and other beings, as well as we do on our travels.

I can’t even start to describe how much I enjoyed this book. Neil Gaiman is an amazing storyteller and I can’t wait to read another of his pieces. I picked this book in a tiny bookstore in Hanapepe, a little town on Kaua’i and am so, so glad Gaiman’s Stardust was my choice. I’m counting days to be able to read it again!
