The Kindness of Strangers
The Kindness of Strangers is yet another collection of stories from the road published by Lonely Planet. This time, they are stories of (great) distress and (even greater) kindness of people who decide to help complete strangers (for every traveler is, inevitably, a stranger) with acts starting at making their trip more pleasant to saving their lives.
Preface for the book is written by His Holiness Dalai Lama XIV and as for the authors of the 24-or-so stories, you can find seasoned writers as well as first-timers. Which story did I like the most? For whatever reason, the last two stories resonated with me the most and made me feel this tingling sensation in my heart which I always seek in what is called a good book.
